Redeemer Lutheran Preschool’s Discovery Camp offers child-directed, inquiry-based learning through project-based, hands-on activities that are specifically designed to increase creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Children will leave camp with the skills and tools to support lifelong discoveries. Our camps provide opportunities for children to dive deeper into topics of interest, allowing them to use creativity and imagination to think, make, and collaborate.

Registration Information

A registration link will be sent to parents and posted when open to the public. Once registered, enrollment confirmation will be sent via email. Tuition MUST be paid in full by April 18th and Health forms must be received by May 1st.  A Virginia Health form will be sent to to you for completion upon registration. A deposit of 50% of the total for June, July and August camp dates is due at the time of registration. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 50% of camp fees for June, July and August camp dates is due April 18th, 2022. Once paid, camp fees are non-refundable. If payment is not received, reserved dates will be released. All deposits and remaining balance payments are non-refundable once paid. A non-refundable late fee of $20 per child will be charged for payment or registration after April 18th. Payment can be made by card through Tuition Express, check, and Electronic Funds Transfer via Tuition Express (for enrolled RLP families). Checks can be dropped off at RLP Monday-Friday from 8:00am-3:00pm. Space is limited, due to guidelines for safety. If the week(s) you are looking for are full and you would like to be added to the Wait List, please email and provide your name, camper’s name, age, group and week(s) you would like to be placed on the wait list for.  


We provide a healthy snack for campers each day consisting of a fruit/vegetable and crackers. Campers should bring a water bottle that we can refill each day to stay hydrated. If staying for extended day, campers should bring their own packed lunch. Please note: Our campus is a nut-free environment. If your child has any allergies, please indicate that on their emergency form at registration. 


We will continue to follow essential business guidelines recommended by the VA Department of Health, VA Department of Social Services, and the CDC regarding cleaning, sanitizing, screening, and social distancing. Masks will be required.
